Tickets or registration fees are required for the January Robert Burns Supper, for the June Friday evening Celtic Concert and Saturday Festival, and for the July 30 Fred Thayer Memorial Golf Tournament at Thousand Acres Lakeside Golf Club. There is no charge for parking at any of the events. See you at the McHenry Highland Festival events!
Saturday, January 22, 2011 - Robert Burns Supper
In January, along with Scots around the world, we in
Garrett County
celebrated the anniversary of Robert Burns' birth in true style with
whisky tasting, haggis, Shepherd's pie, shortbread, bagpipes and
addresses to the Laddies and Lassies.
The event
was honored by the presence– and music–of famed Scottish
fiddler Bonnie Rideout. We're already planning our 2011 supper!
Friday, June 3, 2011 - Celtic Concert
Celtic Concert :
Tickets can be purchased in advance
either online; at Gregg's Pharmacy in Oakland; or at
the Vistors Center on Garrett Highway (Rte. 219) in McHenry.

Saturday Festival - June 4, 2011 - 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

General admission includes most activities at the festival, including the concerts. Food and commercial vendors' goods are purchased separately. Tickets can be purchased (only checks accepted) in advance at the McHenry Visitors Center. On the day of the festival, tickets are available at the Garrett County Fairgrounds entrance off Mosser Road in McHenry.
