Rich in the history, culture, and arts of Ireland, Scotland, and Wales, the McHenry Highland Festival in mountain Maryland has been an educational, fun event for the whole family. The generosity of our community has made it possible for us to hold a festival that preserves the Celtic traditions brought to the Appalachian Mountains by early pioneers.
Our all-volunteer Board of Directors works year round to bring together three days of events: the Friday Evening Celtic Concert, the all-day Saturday Festival at the McHenry Fairgrounds, and the Kirkin’ o’ the Tartans on Sunday at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Deer Park.
Your tax-exempt donations enable us to offer a quality festival experience to all.
