Instructions as to where to assemble, what to bring, etc. will be sent by May 13 . In consideration of the acceptance of this application for participation in the McHenry Highland Festival, McHenry, Md. (hereinafter referred to as “the Festival”), I (we) agree to hold this Festival, its members, directors, officers, and agents harmless from any claim for loss or injury which may be alleged to have been caused directly or indirectly to any person or thing by the act of my dog in the Festival while in or upon the site or grounds or the surrounding area thereto, and I (we) personally assume all responsibility and liability for any such claim. I (we) further agree to hold the aforementioned parties harmless from any claim for loss of my dog attending by disappearance, theft, death or otherwise, and from any claim for damage or injury to my participating dog, whether such loss, disappearance, theft, damage or injury be caused by or alleged to be caused by the negligence of this Festival or any of the parties aforementioned, or by the negligence of any other person, or any other cause or causes. I (we) further agree to abide and be bound by all the rules and regulations of this Festival and I (we) understand that the Festival may refuse my dog for cause which the Festival shall deem sufficient. I (we) also agree that the Festival may use any photographs taken therein for advertising purposes. I (we) certify that I (we) am (are) the actual owner(s) of this dog entered on this Application for McHenry Highland Festival.
